A little wellness area, a cosy parlor with a fireplace and 3 cosy little rooms will make your stay in this legendary spa and ski resort a truly charming one.
Besides the Empresses Room, Mountain room and Valley room you're welcome to use and share the following areas of this private house:
In this comfortable bright room with view into the garden and over the valley you've several choices: light a fire in the fireplace, read a book from the library, watch a movie from the DVD collection or shake a cocktail at the little bar.
Being hungry does not necessarily mean that you have to leave the house: a fully equipped kitchen allows you to cook your food at anytime during the day.
In the morning, Nina or Fred prepare a lovely breakfast according to your wishes, using products from the garden (seasonal) or local producers. Under ward of tom-kitten Willi the British Sussex chicken Frida, Hilda, Wilma and Trude are laying an organic egg every morning. You're craving porridge with apple today and ham and eggs tomorrow? Nina or Fred will gladly prepare it all for some additional euros.
Enjoy the good weather right outside the house and take a seat in the green! Let your eyes wander through the valley and up to breathtaking mountain peaks, let the rustling of leaves, the chatter of the four hens, the purring of the tomcat accompany your daydreams or get active and grab our badminton set. Whatever you feel like, our enchanted garden is the right place for it.
We do not offer a thousand square meters swimming pool. We offer something even greater: the only private thermal water access in town! Enjoy the soothing, warm (38°C) water in our little thermal pool, and let our sauna and steam bath do the rest for your total relaxation for a small amount of money.
Whatever question you might have or whatever information you might need - Nina and Fred are there for you anytime!
Also, in summer Fred is happily guiding you on mountain tours, individually designed considering your interests, condition and the weather.
Besides a variety of public transports Fred is happily driving you with a spacious car to wherever you need to go: be it the slope, the train station Bad Gastein or the airport Salzburg (price per request).
It's the grand view of the Gastein valley that gives this room its name. The valley room is equipped with a king size bed, a wardrobe and a little balcony - for excellent prospects. Toilets are right outside in the corridor, communal showers are provided downstairs.
The clue is the name: our Mountain Room is "mountainbound", and it's like the peace and quiet of the woods and mountains are directly flowing into this room, making it a serene and quiet place - you'll never have slept better. The Mountain Room is furnished with a king size bed, a little bureau, a wardrobe and a washbasin. Toilets are right outside in the corridor, communal showers are provided downstairs.
Some things never change. This also applies for the biggest room in our house: ever since the year one it's being named "Kaiserinnenzimmer" (empresses room). One of the reasons for this might be the view from the room's balcony: you don't only overlook the marvelous valley but also see the legendary Kaiserhof.
In any case: the empresses room is a room with a view, slightly vintage and definitively cosy - furnished with a double bed and a little bureau. Upon request a folding bed can be set up for a 3rd person to sleep in the room.
Toilets are right outside in the corridor, communal showers are provided downstairs.
